Snapback Hats

A snapback is a 6-panel hat with a wide flat brim. Sometimes it can be 5-panel which becomes more suitable for embroidery. It comes with an adjustable snap on the back which makes it perfect to fit any kind of head. One size fits most people. The earliest versions of the snapback have been around since the 1800's making their first appearance with the Brooklyn Excelsiors. Long after that pop groups in the late 1980's and early 1990's adopted the style. Groups such as Mobb Depp were wearing it all the time. No long after that very well-recognized hip hop artists such as Tupac, Dr. Dre and Shakur began rocking the style. From there on, sports adopted the trend as well. For example NBA player Micheal Jordan began wearing snapbacks. Of course, it translated to the modern music industry and artists such as Jay Z and Kanye West kept the trend going. Nowadays, it has become very common and all types of people wear snapbacks.
